As a result, cancellation and refund conditions vary depending on the suppliers included in each package. This policy explains the general principles that apply to all bookings.

2. Customer Cancellations

2.1 How to Cancel

All cancellation requests must:

  • Be submitted in writing via email to

  • Be made by the lead traveller or booking holder

The date on which we receive the written cancellation request will be considered the official cancellation date.

2.2 Cancellation Fees

Cancellation charges are determined by:

  • The individual cancellation policies of hotels, golf courses, and service providers

  • The time remaining before travel

  • Any non-refundable deposits or pre-paid services

⚠️ Some golf packages, promotional offers, or special rates may be non-refundable. This will be clearly indicated at the time of booking.

3. Amendments to Bookings

  • Requests to modify bookings (dates, names, services) are subject to availability.

  • Amendments may incur additional costs imposed by suppliers.

  • Island Golf Escapes Ltd cannot guarantee amendments once a booking has been confirmed.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are considered only if:

  • The applicable supplier cancellation conditions allow for a refund

  • A valid cancellation request is received within the permitted timeframe

Refunds will be calculated after deducting:

  • Non-refundable deposits

  • Supplier cancellation charges

  • Administrative or payment processing fees (where applicable)

4.2 Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds are processed within 14–21 business days

  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method

  • Processing times may vary depending on banks and payment providers

Island Golf Escapes Ltd is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions or payment gateways.

5. Supplier-Initiated Cancellations

In the event that a supplier (hotel, golf course, transport provider) cancels a service:

  • We will make reasonable efforts to offer a suitable alternative of comparable value, or

  • Issue a refund in accordance with the supplier’s refund policy

Island Golf Escapes Ltd shall not be liable for additional costs incurred by the customer beyond the refunded amount.

6. Force Majeure (Unavoidable Events)

No refunds or compensation are guaranteed for cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Pandemics or health emergencies

  • Government travel restrictions

  • Airline disruptions or strikes

In such cases, refunds or credits are strictly subject to supplier policies.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellations

  • Medical emergencies

  • Loss or damage to golf equipment

  • Travel delays and disruptions

Island Golf Escapes Ltd shall not be responsible for losses that could have been covered by insurance.

8. Non-Refundable Services

The following are typically non-refundable unless stated otherwise:

  • Promotional or discounted packages

  • Special event or tournament packages

  • Last-minute bookings

  • Golf tee times booked at preferential rates

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact Island Golf Escapes Ltd directly to resolve disputes before initiating chargebacks with banks or payment providers.

Unjustified chargebacks may result in:

  • Cancellation of current and future bookings

  • Recovery of incurred administrative and legal costs

10. Relationship with Other Policies
